Rhythm Series

Drone & UAV Gimbal Payloads

Nurlmch builds drone and UAV gimbal payloads: 3-axis stabilized gimbal cameras for drones and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Whether you need a drone camera for inspection or a UAV camera for surveillance, every Rhythm payload carries an on-board Nvidia Xavier NX edge computer, speaks MAVLINK 2.0 and mounts with a P-Mount quick-release, so it works across open drone platforms instead of being locked to a single aircraft brand.

Three payloads, one open platform

Choose by what you need to see: full-frame detail, long-range zoom, or zoom combined with thermal imaging.

Built for open drone platforms

Rhythm payloads are designed to integrate with the flight stack you already use.

Open flight controllers

Rhythm payloads support PX4, ArduPilot and Cube Pilot flight controllers with full MAVLINK 2.0 protocol support, and work with MAVLINK-based ground stations such as QGroundControl.

  • PX4
  • ArduPilot
  • Cube Pilot
  • QGroundControl

AI detection and tracking on the payload

Rhythm payloads run AI object detection and target tracking on board. Train your own AI detection model and upload the trained .pt model file directly to the camera. The payload runs it on its on-board Nvidia edge computer.

  • Object tracking
  • Nvidia Xavier NX
  • 21 TOPS
  • Custom models

Quick-release mounting

The P-Mount quick-release lets you attach and swap payloads without tools, so one aircraft can serve different missions.

  • P-Mount
  • IP44
  • 24 V

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a drone gimbal payload?+

A drone gimbal payload is a camera or sensor package mounted on a motorized, stabilized gimbal. The gimbal isolates the camera from the aircraft's movement and vibration, so imagery stays steady and the camera can be pointed independently of the flight direction.

Which flight controllers are Rhythm payloads compatible with?+

Rhythm payloads support PX4, ArduPilot and Cube Pilot flight controllers, with full MAVLINK 2.0 protocol support — so they integrate with a wide range of drone platforms and MAVLINK-based ground stations such as QGroundControl.

Which Rhythm gimbal payload has a thermal (EO/IR) camera?+

Rhythm3 is the EO/IR payload in the range: it includes an infrared thermal camera alongside its 4K zoom camera and laser rangefinder. Rhythm2L offers the zoom camera and laser rangefinder without thermal imaging, and Rhythm1 is a full-frame camera payload with interchangeable lenses.

Do Rhythm gimbal payloads support object tracking?+

Yes. Rhythm payloads run AI object detection and target tracking on their on-board Nvidia Xavier NX edge computer, so tracking works on the payload itself. You can also upload your own trained detection model.

Can I train and deploy my own AI models on Rhythm payloads?+

Yes. You can train your own custom AI detection model and upload the trained .pt model file directly to the camera — the payload then runs your model on its on-board Nvidia edge computer.

Can I change the lens on Rhythm1 myself?+

Yes. Rhythm1 supports three interchangeable Sony full-frame G lenses — FE 24mm F2.8G (SEL24F28G), FE 40mm F2.5G (SEL40F25G) and FE 50mm F2.5G (SEL50F25G). You can swap them yourself and no calibration is required.
